Sandblasting &
Etching:
The use of an
abrasive material under air pressure, the use of acid, or the use of a rotary
diamond tipped tool to etch lettering or designs on the surface of glass. This
technique is generally used for detailing in art glass panels and awards.

HOT GLASS
Lampwork
(Flamework) & Jewelry Design:
Hot glass work that uses a gas fueled torch to melt rods and tubes of glass and
then sculpted while in the molten state. Most common items includes vessels,
sculptures, paperweights, marbles, and adornments such as pendants, bracelets
and beads. Jewelry designers use these glass beads in their craft.

WARM GLASS
Kiln Work:
Slumping, Tack Fusing, Painting and Full Fuse.
Here you bring the glass to a temperature in a kiln where it is soft enough to
bend over a mold, adhere to other glass or paint, or to a molten state where
different pieces of glass become one. Used in conjunction with lead or copper
foil in creating a 3 Dimensional piece (such as a lamp or dishware) or for added
detailing.
