GAPPR MISSION STATEMENT
The GAPPR is an association of glass artists/crafters organized for the purpose
of perpetuating and encouraging glass art work, as well as educating and
socially connecting glass artists/crafters in the pursuit of the business of
glass crafting and artistry in the Pike's Peak region.
Benefits of Membership:
1. Members’ Gallery : You are listed in the Members’ Gallery by name on the
public site of our website. You have the opportunity to display pictures of your
work on a separate Member Page for those without a sales tax license; or, for
our Professional Members with a sales tax license, we will help to develop a
Professional Member Page giving your contact information, artist’s statement or
biography, and pictures of your work; or establish a link to the Professional
Member’s own business website.
2. Voting rights in GAPPR: You can help guide the direction and evolution of
this glass art organization.
3. Access to the "Members Only" site by password. This site has an Events
Calendar highlighting area craft/art shows and educational opportunities with
contact information; the Bulletin Board (classifieds for art glass information,
products, supplies, services, classes, etc. with listings free to members and by
fee for non-members); Glass Safety tips; Committees and their on-going work;
Links to other art glass sites; Membership Directory with full contact
information; and more to come as we grow.
4. Interactions: You would have the opportunity to be socially connected and
make professional contacts with other area glass artists/crafters of almost all
glass disciplines and with all levels of experience.
5. GAPPR Membership Card. This card will afford you discounts from GAPPR
Sponsors, which currently includes both Colorado Springs art glass shops: Full
Spectrum and Royalty Art Glass, with more to come. Reduced fees for GAPPR
sponsored shows or events.
